The Handiwork of God!

Believe it or not, we have been called and given the same anointing to accomplish apostolic work in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. For without Christ operating in our lives we can do nothing. - John 15:5

I want to emphasize two points in this written expression. First of all, Christ Jesus was sent by the Father to bring life to his people. Therefore, Paul write to the Ephesians [2:10],

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

Therefore, as the Father sent Jesus, He is calling and sending sons to do a great work in the earth. I want to highlight, “the sent one”; as we consider the word in Greek; which means apostolic; to conduct an apostolic work in the earth. There is a special anointing that He has given to his sons to accomplish his mandate.

Therefore, as the same spirit bides in Christ, so that same spirit is alive in his sons and over the same. Paul said that we are caring both life and death in our earthen vessels [transformation – inwardly we are being changed]. We must fully embrace his handiwork and knowing the work assigned to his sons, that is the body of Christ and operate within the parameters of God’s Word. The tradition of man cannot change this, therefore, as He was apostolic, so are we in this fallen world! My second witness is found in the book of Hebrews 3:1, Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God’s house.

The same spirit of Grace richly abides in each of us also covers us. - Romans 8:11 and II Cor.12: 9

Finally my brethren, watch out, be vary careful for the traditional views and religious ways of man! Religion can bring a major blow to the soul to get you off track! God has sent forth Jesus Christ to do an apostolic work with an invitation extended to his son! So lets not change or altar this great work of God but honor all that He called to accomplish this assignment!

In summary, we have been given the assignment of being the Handiwork of God; therefore, we must be about our Father’s Business. As you read and understand His purpose, lets us pursue that same purpose. Remember, we are called and sent to his disciples.
